i have been using 1.07 for a couple weeks doing data extraction, seems pretty stable so far.
i would like to enable attribute updating, for our internal beta tests. any idea when that will be working?

do you mean updated attributes saved to 2004 dwg?
if so i would recommend you to test your application with pre-2004 files and dd 1.06.
after 2004 writing is implemented nothing will be changed in interface so transition to new dd version with 2004 read/write support will be easy.

thanks sergey - thats exactly what i have done. i am hoping someone on the ever so fabulous dd development team will give me a time estimate for dwg update. that is, when might we get the next update, and will it have dwg writing support for 2004. did i mention, when might we get it?

optimistic estimation for dwg 2004 write support is a couple of weeks. but reverse engineering job time is often hard to estimate :-(
