rendering viewports with shade on
i have taken advantage of the vectorisation framework and using wingdi.gs to plot drawings. all is working well except shaded objects in a paperspace viewport are turning out black. modelermodule is loaded. can someone help me with this problem.
windows gdi is a 2d rasterizer, so wingdi.gs can render only in 2d optimized and 3d wireframe modes.
if some other shade mode is turned on in viewport (flat shaded, gauraud shaded, hidden line), then wingdi.gs renders this viewport in 3d wireframe mode. so 3d objects are rendered as set of isolines and silhouettes.
in 1.14 we are planning to release opengl printing support that will make printing in shaded modes possible.
