question about crash files
question about crash files
we often recieve some crashed dwg/dxf files from client. you know, the process always be broken by the exceptions when reading this kind of files.
do you have any suggestions about avoiding those exception? or, some methords to recover them before reading?

you can use oddbhostappservices::recoverfile().
surely loading a drawing in recover mode takes more time. it's your choice to try loading with readfile() or to start always with recoverfile().
surely not all corrupted files can be recovered..
