problem with decomposeforsave for an oddbbody entity
problem with decomposeforsave for an oddbbody entity
i am using decomposeforsave function to get the basic geometry for oddbbody entities. it works for all of the sample entities that i have, except the one in the drawing attached. for some reason, decomposeforsave returns a null pointer in the following code:
bool exchangexdata;
oddbobjectid replaceid;
oddbobjectptr pdecomobj = pent->decomposeforsave(oddb::vac12, replaceid, exchangexdata); //pent is oddbentityptr pointing to a valid oddbbody entity.
would anyone please take a good at the file and let me know what the problem is?

i tried to attach the file, but the system didn't get it through. i tried a couple of times with no luck. i dont know why. i've already sent a message to the forum admin, but i haven't got a reply.
