i am getting the "dwg object improperly read" error when trying to open the attached file using odamfcappdll.exe installed by dwgdirect 1.13.01.00. the file has been saved by mechanical desktop 2004 as "mechanical desktop dwg file. when we save the same model as "autocad dwg file" then everything is ok. does dwgdirect support mechanical desktop 2004 ?

it seems that "mechanical desktop" and "autocad" file are saved differently.
dwgdirect supports "autocad" dwg.
btw, autocad's 2004 & 2005 recover reports errors loading your file. dwgdirect is able to recover the file as autocad (erasing 4 "incorrect" objects and objects owned by them).
