when i open the attached dwg file into my dd2.3 app and do the following...
oddbhostappservices* phostapp = pdb->appservices();
bool istrusted = phostapp->getsavedwgchecksum();
...'istrusted' returns as "true".
when i open the same dwg file into acad 2008, i get the "this dwg file as saved by a software application that was not developed or licensed by autodesk..." dialog.
according to my customer, the file was actually saved out of solidworks, so i would expect getsavedwgchecksum() to return 'false'.
what should i be doing differently to query a files 'trustworthiness'?

can i find out what software product wrote the dwg file?
