i need to build a converter from dwg to maya, i saw that the current converter that's in maya was developed by the open design alliance...i want to add capabilities to this converter, rather than just converting everything to curves, i'd like to be able to make doors as door curves, windows as window curves, etc...i know i could do this using autocad's libraries, i'm just wondering if i can do this for free using your member's libraries? also, would be helpful to write my additional code on top of what was already developed, if that could be supplied to me that would be incredible. thanks
