motion study vb 2005

i have been trying to automate a simulation with vb 2005 but i have 2 problems. first of all i can't make an assembly o don't why, i tried recording a macro a play it again but it doesn't work, and also tried to make the assembly by vb but it doesn't work either. my second problem is i tried to make a motion study with this assembly but in the api help docs appears a sw motion study library, but i can't find it to attach it as a reference in vb, so i don't know.... i need help
the assembly consists in 6 parts from an arm robot and i want to put automatically a motor in each part, but i don't know how do this through vb.
