macro won't work in 2008
i just upgraded to swx2008 office pro sp-3.1. when i try to run one particular macro i get a "object doesn't support this property or method." error i checked my vb references and found that the solidworks 2007 commands type library is no longer loaded. when i try to load the reference i get an "error in loading dll." error. did something change in 2008 to make the 2007 commands type library no longer valid? vince reswug leader rohnert park, ca vincent, nothing made it invalid... you just upgraded solidworks. to get your macro working, delete the missing reference, and add a reference to the solidworks 2008 library instead of the 2007 one. that should get it working. kevin bennett kevinsbennett@navitech.us like kevin said; to do that just go to the tools->references... menu and remove all solidworks items, click ok, go back in, then re-add them. |
