keep macro active after switching part/assembly
after i switch part/assembly, the macro becomes inactive and i have to restart the marcro again
how to keep it active after switching part/assembly

depends. are you talking about a form, or just the execution of a macro? if a form, you'll have to add the ability for the macro to attach to a new document when the document changes. if just execution of something you want always running, you can automatically start the macro up upon launching sw itself. there are a couple of disucssions on this board about that.
