how to replicate the functionality of the extrude and revolve buttons?
i would like to create a macro that replicates the extruded/revolved boss/cut commands, but followed by a normal to command to orient the resulting sketch. unfortunately, i haven't been able to find a function that does the same thing as the built-in commands, which is:
1) create a sketch on a preselected surface
2) automatically start the respective feature creation dialog once the sketch has been closed
there might be a way to just sit there and loop the macro until the sketch is closed, but i still don't know how to bring up the feature creation dialog. the api help only lists methods for outright creation of features... no way to just start the dialog. thanks for any help.
