changing dimensions
ok, i'm banging my head against a wall here.. all i want to do is run a macro that will change dimensions d1 and d2 d1 + 1 degree d2 - .0061111 inches i have to do this for 360 degrees so having a keyboard shortcut that will do this will make my day just that more shorter.. i tried recording a macro to get the code, but that didn't work out too well.. and the api help is a bit greek to me as far as the full syntax of the macro/program.. thx for any help you can offer sw2009 sp3.0 pentium d 840-3.2 ghz 4gb ddr2 667 ati firegl v5600 - driver ver. 8.440.0.0 winxp pro 32bit an understanding that without any understanding, we would all be misunderstood.. tom, simply add two euations : d1 = d1 + 1 degree & d2 = d2 - .0061111 inches now just rebuild and you are done. you can set a macro for doing the rebuild and assign a short cut key to it. deepak gupta sw2007 sp5.0 sw2009 sp2.1 ahhhhhh thx.. i knew it had to be easy.. not sure if its a bug, but it worked out great, i had to follow a line that was moved by the above dimensions, and create a point on the endpoint of the line.. after every point creation, the dims would adjust.. sw2009 sp3.0 pentium d 840-3.2 ghz 4gb ddr2 667 ati firegl v5600 - driver ver. 8.440.0.0 winxp pro 32bit an understanding that without any understanding, we would all be misunderstood.. quick |
