can a simulation be replayed in powerpoint without sw on com
i have a simulation running in sw 2007. i would like to include this simulation in a powerpoint presentation, but the computer that will be used during the presentation does not have sw.
is it possible to save the simulation in a format that can be displayed using powerpoint?

simulation simulated how? animator and cosmosmotion both allow saving to .avi.
i used the simulation button in the sw commands. i did not use animator or cosmosmotion

insert the .avi file, you do not need sw to see it.

there are also free screen recorders available.
sw has a screen video capture as well. i think it's edit->screen capture->video. something like that anyway.

as the others have mentioned, there's video capture in the simulation tool bar that will save as an avi file. play with the capture rate to get the smoothest display without creating a huge file.
we used the avi in a powerpoint presentation two days ago and it works dandy. we also linked an edrawing file within the slide to show the client a more detailed view.
