adding a macro
i want to add a macro that simply opens up the custom properties dialog box. i've downloaded the macro and want to add it to the shortcut toolbar (at least that's what i call it - it has the zoom, section view, view orientation buttons etc). i'm not familiar with adding macros.
tried following the help but still not sure. any help appreciated.

in the help, did you see "to run a specific macro method and create a customer macro button:" instructions? they are a pretty good step-by-step procedure.
right click somewhere in the toolbar area and then click on customize. then on the commands tab. in categories click on macro. then click and drag the "new macro button" up into the toolbar area and place it where you want. it will bring up a window where you can type in a tool tip and then you can click on the ellipses (...) to browse for your macro.

answer just assign a shortcut to the "properties..." menu command. mine is set to 'p'

i like the idea of this shotcut, but cannot find the macro you describe.
can you pass on were you found it ?
