welding stainless steel to a500 steel pipe
the fabricator wants to weld stainless steel to a500 steel pipe. can this be done?

i think there is a forum for welding and fabrication.
stainless steel consumables can be used to weld carbon steel, so i can't see that st. steel to a500 would be a problem.
you would have to assess if accelerated corrosion could be an issue.
