web-tapered members in aisc 2005
does anyone know why the 2005 aisc spec has removed all references to web-tapered members?
because almost anybody who used web-tapered members just used their own home-grown methods instead of the provisions they put in the previous specs and because there will soon be a new comprehensive design guide on the subject (that looks little like the older tapered member stuff).
