i have a little trouble: i need to draw goemetry of a steel penstock wye branch using autocad2002 and export it to sap2000 to be analized... what kind of entities (such a 3dface, mesh, etc.) should i use to be compatible with sap?
i've been reading sap manuals, i can't find the way... would you help me?

to model a shell eleent u have to draw it in layer named sap_shells, and use 3dface, for frame elemnt draw it in a layer named sap_frames, and use line objects. u have to save your drawing as a .dxf .
hoping thats will make it come true :)
