retaining wall program
hello everyone:
i was wondering what retaining wall program people use out there. we were using retwall for a long time. however, the disk became corrupt and our it guys deleted it off the engineering computer.
i am just wondering what people are using. i have done the last few by hand, and it takes a long time. especially since i like to try a couple different things to optimize my design.

i like prosheet - free from arbed or whatever they're called these days. check
i used a program called "retain-pro" (
i either use enercalc or a speadsheet i wrote.
for seeting design i like civiltech shoring

the son of the man who wrote retainpro is who owns enercalc. retainpro is essentially an expanded and more robust module of what is in enercalc and works very well.

hi guys,
i am trying to design a 10' retaining wall to retain against the soil on a sloped bare land, i don't know which way i should design the footing, i mean the heel portion of the footing should be toward the slope (under the slope) or opposite side? which way is more common and better.
