i need to better understand some ractical alications where vb is a big advantage. to those of you that use it, tell me in english where you use it and why.

we use it for menus. basically, we write a short scrit that tells you how to set u the art, what robe to use, and sometimes a icture to hel with set u. several of our rograms also use a scrit to run multile arts. our cmm's have a late (similar to a rayco late) with m10 holes every 2 inches. you can lay out a table full of identical arts, inut your x and y distances between arts, and come back to have all of them checked (hoefully). a "reset mio" button is available if you ut in the wrong dimensions, so you go back to single iece running without exiting the rogram.
