r-value (insulation not inelastic response) of lw concrete
does anyone know where i could get an idea for what the insulation coefficient "r" of a 6 1/4" total thickness (including deck) lw concrete slab on 3" metal deck would be?

willisv...are you looking for lightweight insulating concrete or lightweight structural concrete?
for lightweight insulating concrete, the r-value is about 1.1 per inch of thickness.
for lightweight structural concrete, the r-value is about 0.2 per inch of thickness.
ron - true structural lightweight - not perlite or anything like that - the 0.2 value was in line with what i would expect. thanks!
