open truss flange tear off
i am looking at hanging a fire sprinkler pipe from either the top or bottom chord of an open web truss. the ilevel catalog shows a maximum flange tear off value of 500# for a tji but no information for a commercial tjl truss. is there a limiting value for the top and bottom chord members and if so, how is it determined? any insight would be apprecaited. thanks
