i usually don't ask project specific questions but i am in a pinch. could someone give me the roof or ground snow load for skaneateles, ny in onondaga county. i have ordered the building code and it probably won't be here until next week and i really need to start the design of this project. it is listed as a case study in the asce and ibc. help would be much appreciated.

from the new york state building code's figure 1608.2, i would use a gorund snow load of 55 psf.

i would agree with mike the engineer, towns often have their own required snow load that may not be the same as the code.
