list topic: student projects
the "tower construction - fun project" post brings up a recurrent topic, i.e., students working on wooden/toothpick/popsicle stick bridges, towers, etc.
other email list to which i belong have a faq with general suggestions in it. should we do something similar? where do we put it? does anyone have one already developed?
in general, i'm not opposed to giving help but i don't want to do their homework for them and we all know that the cutting and gluing isn't the essence of this problem.
