indian snow loads
hi guys,
apologies if this isn't the correct forum to ask this, but i was wondering if anyone could point me to where i could find a snow map of india?
i'm doing a design for low cost geodesic dome housing for an indian ngo based near pune and i don't want to shell out for the indian standard covering it (is875 part 4), as i have a hunch that the area is sufficiently far south of the himalayas to not be affected by snow.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
i would really doubt if pune has a snow load. i have been there several times in various season and never saw any weather that could maintain any sort of snow. - too far south and not high enough.
you can also look at the temperature history on the internet and check the historic minimums.
your indian client could possibly transmit the appropriate pages from a code to you.
