improving fin fan cooler performance
a project i am working on involves 100 fin-fan coolers atop a piperack. the problem is that the warm air that is pushed out of the top of the coolers is sucked back up through the bottom of the coolers, thereby drastically reducing the performance of the coolers. a possible solution that has been suggested is to erect some sort of barrier around the bottom of the coolers (plexiglass) to prevent the warm air from being sucked back into the bottom of the coolers. does anyone have any creative ideas about how this problem might be eliminated?
