ibc out-of-plane anchorage for conc wall
with the old ubc/cbc, there was a 1.4 factor for anchorage forces to steel resisting elements, and an 0.85 factor for the forces to wood elements (1633.2.8.1). looking at asce 7-05, section 12.11.2.2, i see that steel forces are still multiplied by 1.4, but is the 0.85 factor gone for wood?
