handrail safety on rooftop
at my treatment plant, i have a roof with a 2' wall. on top of the wall, i have some handrails. the distance between the handrail and wall is 20".
osha requires that no opening in a guardrail system be greater than 19".
can i satify this requirement by adding a 3.5" high toeboard between the handrail and wall?
