ga license
hey there - does ga require structural engineers to take the structural i exam or is civil/structural acceptable?
i'm submitting for licensure by comity and they said that i'm practicing in an area (structural) different than my exam testing discipline (civil/structural).

ga licenses by specific discipline. if you want to get licensed as a "structural" engineer then you must have passed the structural i exam. otherwise you have to get licensed as a "civil" engineer. in practice i don't recall if there are any limitations on practice aside from practicing in your area of competence.
