footing subjected to axial+bending producing uniform soil pr
in designing a footing where the column will not pass to the c.g. of the footing(where ecc. exists), what is the best alternative for the design of the short direction steel? currently, i used the principle behind the design of the rectangular footing where we make the center strip square. any suggestions welcome.
