counterfort
i noticed a counterfort on a residential basement wall that extended 8 inches past the footing. accordingly, the counterfort is not supported on the last 8 inches. is this something to be concerned about? this is certainly not good practice and partially defeats the purpose of a counterfort. take a look at this website: |
