i am installing a granulator that weighs about 7000 lbs. the granulator manufacturer calls for a concrete pressure resistance of 30 n/mm^2(4350 psi). i was going to specify 5000 psi concrete, but was not sure of the thickness needed or the amount of rebar needed? any suggestions?
does the granulator have any vibration to it? how is the granulator supported, legs, or a flat base?
yes. it will have vibration, but it does have vibration dampeners on the legs. there are a total of 10 legs. the granulator is approx. 8' x 5', so i was thinking 6' x 10' for the pad.
