castellated beams
i have heard that castellated beams are not allowed in canada. i have done some research and cannot confirm if this is true or not. i am currently working on a project in canada where an american contractor would like to incorporate some of these in their catwalks for maintenance personnel access and equipment support. i have told them that i heard that castellated beams are outlawed here, but that i would verify.
can anyone provide some direction on this?
