canadian runway crane specs
i have a overhead runway crane which runs on an i-beam the length of the building. it uses a 5 ton hand operated chain fall to lift electric motors out for service.
the i - beam was never given an official rating. it was flagged during our crane inspections.
can anyone tell me where i could find the canadian structural requirements for this beam, so that i can give it a rating?
for cranes we use the crane manufactures association of america design standard #70 for overhead and gantry cranes single web girders. for maintaince we use navfac p-307
