blockwall foundation with rigid insulation
does anyone know,if their is a backfill lateral pressure
reduction using 2 inches of rigid insulation between the blockwall and backfill on an 9 foot high basement wall. any information on this thought will be appreciated.

sorry, no reduction. use same lateral pressure. most rigid insulations can carry a lot of weight over a square foot. even if insulation compresses the lateral force would be the same.
