greetings,
it has been several years since i worked in a struct.steel shop and i can't remember what the maximum plate thickness that can be bent 90degrees. is 3/8" the limit?
depends ... how fast are you doing it ? heating the bend before ? what's the material uts ? how good are your tools, your people ?
what radius are you trying to achieve?
look at aisc 9th ed. pg 4-174
i haven't come across it in the 13th yet. maybe someone else has.
