bearing walls - ordinary braced frames
i need to solidify my understanding of table 1617.6 in ibc 2000. specifically, under seismic systems 'bearing wall systems' item 'a' is listed as 'ordinatry braced frames.' i understand this to include common steel stud walls with tension bracing. does it extend beyond that to any other type of steel construction?
