asd steel ibc 2003
are we supposed to be using the asd 9th when applying ibc 2003? we just got it today and i only saw lrfd referenced in the codes section where both asd and lrfd was referenced in ibc 2000.

section 2205.01 of ibc 2003 refers to aisc 335 which is "supplement no. 1 to the asd specification" approved by the aisc commitee on december 17, 2001.
you can yse asd but include all provisions of this supplement.
