anyone have any online references to documents that compare the asce 7-05 with earlier versions, preferrably 7-98?

jae - looks like you will have to "piecemeal" reviews of the changes. here is something on snow loading from the american wood council
sorry - i guess i'm actually after wind provisions. forgot to mention that.

the gostructural site has run a number of articles, starting about 1-1/2 years ago,that covers changes from the 97 ubc to the 2000, 2003 & 2006 ibc. the articles cover wind seismic and other stuff.
the major change in the wind load section is that method 1 now includes topo affects. the bad news is that method 2 is still a pain in the hind end.
