ansi/spri es-1?
in wisconsin, we still design under 2000 ibc. i recently received an advertisement for a wind design seminar entitled "understanding ansi/spri es-1", which is an alledged, required standard for roof edges in the 2003 ibc.
i tried to find this publication on the ansi.org site. it could not be found. i did, however, find it at the spri (single-ply roof) site.
is this truly required by 2003 ibc?
could this be a worthwhile seminar?
is this a lobby by the spri to sell literature for profit?
please advise ... thank you ...
