anchorage to concrete according to aci318/02
there is a design method for anchorage to concrete in aci318/02. however, it is only mechanical anchorage.
does anybody know where is for chemical anchorage?.
what i have ever used is only 0.5 of capacity from mechanical anchorage.

i just found that there is a room for aci (concrete) code issues forum. i will post it there.
try the hilti (or any other manufacturer of adhesive anchors) catalog. covers just about any case, including edge and spacing effects.

i have ever experience with hilti.
however, i would like to know concept and design criteria as similar with aci318/02 appendix d but for chemical anchorage.
i have read a good article on the hilti web site that discusses this called "the latest word on building code for anchoring to concrete." check it out.
