allowable bearing pressure / friction on packed snow
i am trying to find any information on allowable bearing pressures and/or friction values for erecting temporary structrures on hard packed snow. in addition, any comments on practical means of measuring the density (and consequently the performance characteristics) of packed snow would also be helpful.
