automatic wing leveling
i vaguely recollect reading years ago about a wing leveling technique for model airplanes that corrected airframe roll attitude by measuring the differential output of earth gravity sensors in each wing tip. can anyone describe such a system suitable for model aircraft? thanks, wda wouldn't it be simpler to fit your model with a proper dihedral? just wondering. cheers. 'ability is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.' try something called fma direct co-pilot which is basically an earth infrared sensor which can detect the level horizon as earth is always warmer. model aviation may 2002 pg 78 had a writeup on and they were very enthusiastic about it. |
