vectorizing problem with dd 1.11
vectorizing problem with dd 1.11
i just upgraded an application that uses dwgdirect to convert autocad files to pdf to dd 1.11, and i noticed a problem that didn't happen before: lines that have a linetype other that continuous are drawn completely out of position and scale;
well, after some hours of testing and playing with some drawings i noticed that this only occurs with drawings that have a block insert. first i thought that the problem was in my implementation of a custom vectorizing device, since the drawing is rendered correctly on screen in odamfcapp. then i also tested a simple drawing using the odvectorize sample, provided with dd, and saw the same problem (i just created a console project and compiled it);
now after some more examination i can say that this happens only to entities with linetype other that continuous and that are rendered after a block insert (entities created before are rendered correctly);
in the attached file i posted a very simple file that has two lines created after a block insert, as well as the ouput from odvectorize sample for the same file with the block insert and without the block insert (i just deleted it and run the sample again). it's clear that with the block insert (witch is just a circle) the line with "hidden" linetype is drawn out of position - the other "continuous" line is drawn in the same position in both cases.
i don't know if i missed something or if this is really a bug in dd 1.11; as i said the rendering devices provided with dd work correctly, but on the other side our application worked well with dd 1.10;
any comments/help appreciated,
thanks,
