urgent: link erro when using wingdi.gs

why is there a link error when i try to using wingdi module. the error is shown bellow,
singledoc.obj : error lnk2001: unresolved external symbol "class odrxmodule * __cdecl odrxcreatemoduleobject_for_wingdimodule(class odstring const &)" (?odrxcreatemoduleobject_for_wingdimodule@@yapavod rxmodule@@abvodstring@@@z)

who can help me? i already wasted whole afternoon time on this problem. thank you very much!
singledoc is linked with gs_wingdi.lib - static library.
wingdi.gs is a dll to be used in dll configuration.
