autocad has a feature where it draws a tiff file over the drawing if it has the same name and is in the same directory as the dwg file. for example, if foo.dwg and foo.tif are in the same directory, foo.tif is drawn over the dwg file. voloview supported this behavior, but i can't lay my hands on a vv2.1 to get a screen shot right now.
it does not appear that dwgdirect supports this with v 1.11.01. is support for this feature planned?
we do not plan such thing.
btw, it can be implemented at application level, not inside dd.
