i would've normally posted this in my previous thread (
i can't reproduce the problem even with the .exe and dll's from your zip and visio.dwg.
do you have vc8 service pack 1 installed? vc8 libraries are compiled with it.
but this does not explain why you have the same problems with vc2003 libraries and static build....
