setupactivelayoutviews problem...
hi,
i'm trying to render a dwg file in an mfc application where i cannot inherit cview class from odgicontextfordbdatabase.
i'm setting the dd such to render on the view using wingdi.gs.
the problem is in initialization of odgsdevice.
i'm following the code of csingledoc example, but i don't know how can i change the code line
code:
m_pdevice = oddbgsmanager::setupactivelayoutviews(m_pdevice, this);
where "this" is a class inherithed from mfc cview and odgicontextfordbdatabase.
is there a work-around for this obstacle?
in simple words i have to tell to dwgdirect to render on my cview using wingdi extension...

hi,
i think you should add a method to your class inherithed from mfc cview :
//here m_pview is a class that inherit from cview and of course odgicontextfordbdatabase
odgicontextfordbdatabase * pctx = m_pview->getcontext();
//getcontext method :
//odgicontextfordbdatabase * getcontext() {return static_cast<odgicontextfordbdatabase*>(this);}
//and then
m_device = oddbgsmanager::setuplayoutviews(m_curlayout,pdevic e, pctx);

can you explain me why you can't inherit your class from odgicontextfordbdatabase ??
