possible measurement problems
possible measurement problems hi there, i think i'm having some problems with the oddbdatabase::getmeasurement() method. i'm using dwgdirect 1.09. i created a model in autocad using the metric template and then saved this as a dwg and dxf file in autocad 2000 format. when i call the getmeasurement method i get 1 returned for the dxf file which is correct but i get a 0 returned for the dwg which, i think, is not right. both voloview and autocad recognise the dwg file as being metric but because of the value returned by getmeasurement my application sees it as imperial. i know that there is more to the metric/imperial thing than this, but i use this value (if its present) as a basis for deciding what units have been used. if the measurement value returned by the database is correct do you have any ideas on how the other applications are getting the units correct? voloview at least seems to default to imperial if there's any doubt so i assume its reading something more than lunits. i've attached a couple of example files. you forgot to attach files. and i failed to reproduce it with my samples. sergey slezkin sorry about that - they should be there now. attached files (6.9 kb, 6 views) this is dd bug. it takes place with dwg files saved by ac2004 to r15. if file is resaved by autocad 2000 or 2002, dd reads correct value. we'll try to fix it. sergey slezkin ok - thanks for the quick response. |
