polygonface and polygon mesh
for the past some time, i have been trying to decipher the difference between polygon mesh and polyface mesh objects. but even reading the autocad help did not help!
can anyone tell me the difference?

polygon mesh stores a matrix of 3d vertices, which are connected with lines (edges).
polyface mesh is a set of faces (a face is a set of 4 3d points). you can hide some edges and to form more complex 3d objects by using it (for example walls with holes for doors and windows).
