odgecylinder.getheight() method
odgecylinder.getheight() method
why the height method of odgecone and odgecylinder is written so. i am not getting it. simply speaking, height of a cylinder is a floating point number. why it is written as an function which takes values between 0 and 1.
i am not getting the point(logic). kindly reply this thread.

odgecylinder can represent both bounded and unbounded cylinder (or bounded at one side). so the height is represented by odgeinterval.

height of infinite cylinder
so what will be the height of a infinite cylinder for its two ends i.e for u=0 and u=1. what the two numeric value will be for the method
heightat(0) and heightat(1) for an infinite cylinder.

i got the solution of the query, it is actually maintained by odgeinterval object.
there is another query. what is me meaning/use of tolerance of odgeinterval.

tolerance is used in odgeinterval for comparing bounds of interval to determine if they are joint, one contains another etc.

interval_1 : [-1, 0]
interval_2 : [1.e-10, 2]
these intervals are disjoined with tolearance 1.e-12
and joined with tolerance 1.e-6
